Whenever the mood hits I paint with my digital camera. I use the camera like a paintbrush, applying techniques by utilizing the camera’s slow shutter speed(s) and low ISO to generate a range of strokes.
The camera is usually handheld at these settings so I am able to mimic the actions of various brushstrokes. Firmly holding down the shutter I move the camera around and paint freely.
The camera’s movement creates colorful abstract visuals. No two images are ever the same. I can be as creative as I like while painting with my digital camera.
