I like to revisit some of my photographs and take them in a completely different direction art-wise. I took the photo (Image #2) of a bunch of withering flowers in a vase and processed the image as I would any other color photograph. But recently I thought it would be interesting to change the image to watercolor .
I converted the image in photoshop from basic color to grayscale, then changed the image to an illustration.
For the final output I used Museo Textured Rag Watercolor Paper and printed on an Epson inkjet printer.
Once the ink was cured, I started the water-coloring process using the Schmincke Horadam Aquarell Watercolor set.
