I like to revisit some of my old photographs and take them in a completely different direction art-wise. I took this photo of a bunch of withering flowers in a vase and processed the image as a normal color picture. I thought it would be interesting to add watercolor to my photographic image.
I started out by converting the image in photoshop from basic color to grayscale then to an illustration. I used Museo Textured Rag Watercolor Paper and printed it out on an Epson inkjet printer.
Once the ink was cured, I started the water-coloring process using the Schmincke Horadam Aquarell Watercolor set.
